Views to Sales Conversion - Want to know yours?

Knowing how many views you need to make a sale can really help you to understand your business better and what is required by way of marketing.

For example, if you know that you need 30 views to make 1 sale, this is a high conversion rate and means that you don't need a whole load of traffic to achieve sales. It also means that you clearly have a product people want or need.

If on the other hand, you need 500 views to make 1 sale, this is a low conversion rate. This could mean that there are issues with your shop that need addressing like photography, pricing etc., that you are not selling something people want or need or simply that you have a high end market product.

Knowing this conversion rate can really help you and this is why I am offering to give you this for free. If you want to know what your conversion rate is, just post here and I will let you know in this thread.

Figures will be based on the entire duration your shop has been open.

If this is what your current market tells you, then you need to adjust your store to target a different clientele, ie make it look more upmarket. Alternatively, you can adjust how you work, ie simplify designs and make it more time effective for yourself.
