Views to Sales Conversion - Want to know yours?

Knowing how many views you need to make a sale can really help you to understand your business better and what is required by way of marketing.

For example, if you know that you need 30 views to make 1 sale, this is a high conversion rate and means that you don't need a whole load of traffic to achieve sales. It also means that you clearly have a product people want or need.

If on the other hand, you need 500 views to make 1 sale, this is a low conversion rate. This could mean that there are issues with your shop that need addressing like photography, pricing etc., that you are not selling something people want or need or simply that you have a high end market product.

Knowing this conversion rate can really help you and this is why I am offering to give you this for free. If you want to know what your conversion rate is, just post here and I will let you know in this thread.

Figures will be based on the entire duration your shop has been open.

@TheSewery, yes, that's quite low. The only way to get more sales would be for you to get more traffic so you need to concentrate on that.

@EureckaGuides I am confused. I did the calculations and divided total views by sales and did not get even close to your number. I am using the sales on my shop page and the views on the stats page. I am using views for all time. I'd like to track my monthly conversion rate but I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Thanks!

@MountainShine, different stat tools count slightly differently and there can be slight differences in stats. The best thing is to always use the same one if you want to track your progress.

I would like to know, but I can tell you that it has crashed and burned since all the changes. I was doing really well before all this. I thought that buying search ads would help but I saw no difference....I purchased your guides and have followed them. My business shot up last year and now is limping along.
