New member saying Hello!

I was invited to join this team a week or two ago, and I thought I'd better say hello. :-)

I am having a look through the forums to figure out what goes on here. I have joined EtsyLush, but my own items are not eligible (I think).

So from what I understand, I should make treasuries only from items on EtsyLush and heart & comment on other people's treasuries?

But it is also OK to promote items which are not featured on EtsyLush (providing that's done in the right thread) - is that correct?

Hi and welcome. You are under no obligation to make LUSH Treasuries but if you do and they are chosen, they will appear on the website with your shop link. So even if your items are not eligible, it is still a chance to get some exposure.

Unfortunately your items do not fit the criteria because you do not make your components. We have to be very strict with jewelry since we have such a large number of submissions from this category. If we did not have this criteria, our site would look unbalanced.

The emphasis on this team is to promote outside of Etsy but there are threads where you can promote yourself here on Etsy.

Hello Eureka, thanks for clarifying. Yes, I knew my items weren't eligible, but I am planning to start making some of my own findings next year, so maybe at some point, I will have a few items that are eligible for Etsylush.

In the meantime, I will have a good look at the site and the team boards, and see where I can help promote people. :-)

Even if your items are not eligible, there are several promotional threads here that you can take part in but also if you did wish to do a Treasury, the LUSH T's are chosen to go on the featured page of the site and will show the curator's shop link.
