Gold Chain Recommendations???

Help!!

I recently used a gold plated steel double curb chain, from a reputable supplier, to make a necklace. After 1 wearing, the gold color had darkened significantly in splotchy areas!

I need a recommendation for a bright gold colored curb chain that will not discolor! Does anyone know of any?? Looking for curb style around 4.5mm or so. Used to hold pearls for a cluster necklace.

I too use gold plated curb chain when making my eye wear holders. I asked a reputable jeweler in town for a recommendation (since they did not sell curb chain in quantity). They mentioned Rio Grande Jewelry Supplies. They do offer a lot of chain (and other supplies). I did call the company (a real person answered!!) and she gladly answered all my questions! Hope this helps!
