Hello! Has anyone ever done this? Have some kind of nice backdrop in your tent and a sign with your shop name - and ask customers if they want to take a selfie? Politely encourage them to hashtag and post it on social media? Maybe offer a discount if they do? I have 8 shows booked this summer (I usually only do large music festivals once or twice a summer) but am also feeling a bit "out of the loop" when it comes to promoting my shop on social media despite being on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. What do you think? Good idea or bad idea? If yes - how do I word it and/or get them to actually do this?
Maybe if they make a purchase, you can ask them if they'd like to show it off on their FB page? Then you can show them the nice background for their picture. I like this idea, I might try to figure out a way to do it at my shows!
I have never done this. But i am thinking you could have the #### on the sign so it would show behind them. That way they would see it and use it without you having to spell it out or anything.
I try to avoid having anything in my booth that could draw attention away from my jewelry but, if you offered this only after a purchase, it might work.
