need help with booth display ideas!

I started making & selling music box ornaments last year - I did pretty well but hate my booth display. Because I use so many colors & patterns it looks like a jumbled mess. I use solids/prints/stripes/checks/animal prints and trying to coordinate /display them so the booth likes appealing with a table cover has been tough! I ended up using a white over black table cover but didn't like it at all. does anyone have suggestions on how to display items that are multiple colors & prints?

What about a completely white background and tablecloths? I tried to find your shop to look at what you have but couldn't find one, so it's kind of hard to advise. I notice there's a ribbon on the ornament on your avatar. If the ribbons are different colours, you could go from light to dark across the booth.
I had the same problem with my snap top towels and ended up going from light to dark across my whole back wall on white gridwall. It looked great!
You could also have the animal prints on a totally green tablecloth background, perhaps a forest print, to add more interest.

You don't want your display to be too busy; it will distract from your items and your customer's will have no where to focus their attention. Without seeing your actual product, and your current set up, it's hard to suggest a couple colors, but I'm thinking something neutral and clean.

Showing my huge variety of photos in all different colors is a similar challenge. I use black on my tables, baskets, etc. My display walls are a really dark grey. For me the dark backgrounds let the colors pop without competing. In addition I group like colors together.

a sandy color or burlap might look nice if you want to avoid the white and black colors.

I started out with black table cloths too but I ended up switching to ivory. Last year I used an ivory table cloth and a patterned table cover over it (like a runner) but my jewelry is colorful too so I am going to try a solid colored table cover this year. That way maybe my jewelry will stand out more. I read somewhere that if you use only white, neutrals and one other color (I'm going to try turquoise or teal) for your tables and displays then your items will stand out more. Doesn't hurt to try.

I agree with those saying to use a simple color. White, ivory, khaki, black (if it would work with your stuff), or gray. My table covers are a silvery-gray color and the color works well to hide the tables themselves, yet disappear and let the catnip goodies show up.
