I was driving home form work the other day and sow a sine advertising for a Christmas Bazaar. And i have no idea if there is a difference between that and a Craft Fair. I was just wondering.

A bazaar will have not just handmade, scentsy, micci, and the like will likely be there maybe even collectable sellers will be there both new and used items, even an insurance agent could have a booth.

I can't imagine there's a clear cut difference. Now if you were asking about art festival or craft fair there would be a difference. BUT in this case I'd say, its a crafty bazaar where most everyone makes their items that they sale.
But I've been wrong before, and certainly they'll be another team members to come along and prove my philosophy wrong.
In this area (Florida) bazaars are usually run by a church and always include resellers like Avon & Pampered Chef. But then again sometimes they market themselves as a hybrid "Craft Bazaar." Now I just don't know what that is.
The thesaurus lists craft fair as a synonym for bazaar but I looked at half a dozen definitions and they were pretty consistent regarding the sale of goods for charity. Where I grew up Bazaars were held by churches, service clubs and schools and only sold goods that their members made or donated. Where I live now, the groups sell the space to anyone who wants it so it can be a real hodgepodge of stuff. The word is Urdu and used in the middle east as a designation for a public market area. Doncha love words?
I just participated in a holiday bazaar at a large church. It was an almost even mix of handcrafted and more commercial items. Several of the vendors were selling items where, like Scentsy and Avon, they encouraged buyers to consider a selling career with them and offered lots of hostess gifts if you host a party.
