Square Chip Reader- Please help!

Hi everyone,
I have a craft fair on Saturday and I bought a square chip reader for it. I have the app Point of Sale, but I can seem to get it to work. It says I for some reason am not allowed to accept credit cards. I can't seem to find any resolutions on the Square help page so can any of you help? Thank you!!!

have you set up the phone to use the app?
is your phone able to run the app?
Do you have your location enabled (this is required)?

Did you input your banking information on the square app? it will need your account number and the bank routing number so they know where to deposit the charges they process for you. This may have to be done on the website, we did it many years ago and I don't remember.

Also, if you have the contactless chip reader, you have to pair it with your phone via bluetooth. You may need to charge it first. The instructions should be in the box and there are tutotials on the app.

It sounds to me like maybe you haven't set up all of your information on the back end like banking information. If you go to
