Local Craft Fairs?

Where is the best place to find information on local craft fairs? We have done a couple of local school craft fairs with little success.

Re: Local Craft Fairs?

Lots of digging on the Internet. I usually will google for craft fairs in my state. Also try looking through Facebook. I have found some through their promotional pages.

Look for Local Teams. My state and tri-state teams list fairs.
I searched for Atlanta in teams for you and this is what I came up with:

Re: Local Craft Fairs?

I'm from PA and I use the site called pavendors.com. They usually have a lot of stuff.

I know there's also groups on Facebook that are dedicated to craft fair listings.

Also check out senior centers in your area. I know a few in my area usually consistently have them every year (and you don't have to be a senior to sell!).

Re: Local Craft Fairs?

In WI, we have an arts and craft fair directory that the state puts out. Its pretty comprehensive. I don't know if other states do that. Check with the dept of tourism I guess. try googling craft fair and your town or state name and see what comes up. There are several sites that have state listings, but some don't have much.

Check with your Chamber of Commerce. I will not do churches or schools. They give the "insiders" the good spots and put outsiders in places that can barely be found.

Go to a show-any show-and talk to all the vendors. Bring a NotePad and write down what their favorite and least favorite shows are. I've found more good shows through vendors, than online, because every show uses their website to make themselves look as good as possible, but other vendors will give you the low down.
