Less than a week to go!

Hi everyone,

I have my first craft fair on Saturday. I'm so excited, but also really nervous!

I've practised setting my stall up, and I'm aware that it's a little bare. I'm still making stock like a machine though, so should be better come the day!

I've got price signs, and price labels. I've also got a receipt book, and a cash box for a £50 float. I have business cards, order forms and signage. I've also made a code for free delivery from my Etsy shop for those that visit my stand. I've got a notebook, item list, pens/pencils, bluetac, gift bags, and 2 lovely helpers.

Is there anything that I'm forgetting? Any last minute advice anyone can offer?

I spent the last couple of weeks before the fair making display items:

Tablecloths
Tabletop display stands and a standing display stand
Ring display
Decorated baskets to hold my smaller stuff
Price Lists in frames
A frame sign to hold my "Custom Orders Accepted" sign

Google "craft fair display" for ideas.

I was super nervous yesterday morning. I was thinking things like, "What if people don't like my stuff?" "What if I forget something?" The other vendors were great. Everyone loved my stuff and, had I forgotten something, the other vendors were so very helpful that I would have had no problem borrowing something. Relax and enjoy your day!

Including csevenm's note I think your stocked up pretty well! Good luck on it and take some notes on what you see other crafters bring. Experiencing your first show will give you so many ideas for your next one!

I would also suggest that you take your jewelry supplies with you. I bought a necklace from another vendor, but it was a little too short for me. She customized the length for me right there and made a $30 sale that she wouldn't have made if she wasn't able to increase the length. :-)
