I need a bit of help with a new name!!

I am new here and a bit new to the whole crafting experience but my mother Joyce and I are teaming up together to design an entirely new store, and she inst crazy about my ideas for our name, I am not sure if this is allowed and please let me know if it is not but any suggestions would be awesome our first show is going to be in August

The Joyful K, and your logo can be some sort of dancing, jazz hands, sparklefingers, letter K.

If it is an entirely new store, what will you be selling? - might help to tie in a name - or a creative combo of your name, your mom's name & the product. Give some details & we might be able to help more.

Jackson, aprons, handmade baby items cloths toys bibs ect., im keeping my hair ribbons and my little clay items, and my mom is coming up with some tote idea and Suzy I actually really like that! and Liz LOL thats the one i came up with first and my mom shot me down :( LOL

Keep your eyes and ears open constantly for inspiration. Something will come to you! One thing to think about (and I'm not saying you're like me, but...) I kept my name purposely ambiguous since I change direction a lot. Let us know what you decide :)

Another thing to keep in mind is making sure your name is unique so that search engines will pinpoint you directly and not a thousand other shops. JoKa search comes up with a few different things.

When I created my name even though I wanted to concentrate on baby/children products I didn't want to tie myself to that in a name in case down the road I wanted to go into home decor etc.

I also had no idea a Textile Trolley was actually a 'thing' LOL, so had to beat all those T.T. manufacturers in search engine results. My biggest competition has been getting past Helly Hanson (huge European company) who made a 'Textile Trolley' bag!

Nice Katie, great play on words! That name tells what you do by the way you spell sew (as in so), but it's still general enough to allow you to go in many different directions.

I think 20 fingers is great. Even if you decided to add in new product lines in the future, so long as it is handmade, the name will encompass all.

when we went to change our name it SewManyCrafts were taken so we combined 20 fingers and sew many together and came up with Sew Many Fingers
