Renegade Craft Fair has 3 ' wide by 6 ' deep booths at their indoor holiday New York and Chicago shows this year. Is this tooooooooo small? I've done 4' tables before, but never this tiny. And that costs $250. 6x6 ' is $500.
you would need to be very creative and go upwards in your display and possibly sit outside the booth, but I'd say yes, it can be done... obviously folks do or they wouldn't sell that size space...
I do a regular show at a resort here on Oahu and my set up is a 3' x 6' table so it is possible but the booth fee is only $65.00 per day and I do have room behind the table for a chair.
This is scary to me. We don't have the Renegade Craft Fair here in Denver yet but they are thinking about it. Is this what we have to look forward to as far as booth fees for their craft show? I really would have loved to do one but that is outrageously expensive for a tiny spot!
Is it really 3 feet wide? Usually it would be 6 feet wide and 3 feet deep. My table is 2.5 deep wide and the two of us have to fit in there too. I assume the aisles are wide at this show so customers stay in the aisle?
With jewellery it is possible to display within a small space, but those measurements seem pretty cramped to me.
Abby - I am just up the road in Fort Collins and would love to have Renegade in Denver. BUT they have raised their prices recently, and I do wonder if they could get a big enough turnout (meaning find a great venue in a great neighborhood and advertise like crazy) for a lot of us to profit after the fees.
I do Firefly in Boulder (will be there this weekend) and am just crossing my fingers for a good weekend there!
tigersandfragons : Yeah, I checked like 3 times to see if it was a misprint. 3 feet wide.
I am thinking maybe they have 6 ft wide tables to rent, and you get 1/2 the top. So it is all about stacking up high all your merch on a table. I guess I will find out if/when I get accepted!
That is the beauty of gridwalls! I can putt hundreds of items in a 2'x6' panel. I have two shows coming up that give us 6'x6' spaces so we all get creative. And the prices are not much different than Renegade. One is $250 for one day 9-4 (but I can make my booth by 10:00!) and the other is $250 for 2 days.
