So, I went ahead and bought a medium size banner from Vistaprint but I have no idea how to attach it to my table. It's an indoor show, so no canopy to hang from and there is a booth directly behind me, so no walls. My show is this Saturday. What should I do?
Maybe build a "wall" frame out of pvc? Weight some of the bottom with cement and create a stand alone frame (that won't extend into your neighbors booth space). Drape it with curtains, shower curtains, sheets, or something and you have an instant wall. Then you could easily hang your banner. And the great thing about pvc is it is sturdy and lightweight and not too costly either.
Or if you wanted to attach it to your table, if you have a tablecloth, you could attach velcro to the table cloth and the back of your banner and attach it accordingly.
Velcro?!?!?!?! Genius! Quick, easy, cheap, and I already have some. I like the PVC idea, too, but I only have 3 1/2 days until my show. I would like for as much of my time as possible to go into product at this point. Thanks!!
I sewed my small vistaprint banner onto a piece of canvas and then sewed velcro onto the top back of the banner and onto my table cover. You could also use the sticky back kind of velcro instead of sewing it.
Also, I've heard of using magnets. Strong ones! You can attach one to the back of the sign and then put another on the back of the table cloth. I haven't tried this personally, but I've heard of it working.

I just did an indoor show this past weekend, and as a last minute fix ended up using duck tape. I tore off pieces, looped it and stuck it in several places across the top and down the sides of the back of my sign. Then stuck the sign to the table cloth. Worked pretty well and you couldn't see the tape.
I like the Velcro idea. Wish I had thought of it ahead of time.
i too am wondering how the magnets attach to keep sign in place against table cloth? maybe they are so strong that when you clip them together (magnet to magnet) the pull of the magnet does all the work. does anyone know where to find magnets of such incredible strength? :)
