How do you store your table linens

So one of the comments I have heard is about the wrinkles in my table fabric.i realized that the wrinkle are coming from how I am storing the table clothes. (In a labeled box that fits into my display storage box)

So I honestly have no idea of a better way to store them so they will be wrinkle free.

Any ideas?

Ours are also full of wrinkles, also because of the way we store them (folded up in a giant tote with some other display items). I've seen people store theirs rolled in a tube before...thought that looked interesting, but never tried it!

Re: How do you store your table linens

My linens are iron free and wrinkle free, they are washed, dried and folded immediately after a show and stored in the inventory closet.

I have seen a faux velvet used for table covers that never wrinkles. But I haven't used that.

Re: How do you store your table linens

I roll my table linens, just as when I roll my pants when I travel. No wrinkles! :)

Re: How do you store your table linens

My fitted black polyester cloths are in a crumpled heap in a bag in the back of the truck...they look fine once on the table, the skirt portion doesn't show wrinkles. The colored ultra suede toppers are folded in the same bag and also doesn't show wrinkles once on the tables. I chose the cloth for its wrinkle free abilities.

Re: How do you store your table linens

We roll ours using newspaper in the folds. Then lay on top inside of box that has lid. Works pretty good.

Re: How do you store your table linens

I simply fold my cloths and put them in the storage tote. They are a poly cotton blend and really don't wrinkle easily.

Re: How do you store your table linens

We fold our cloths and store them in a bag. The tops are some kind of polyester, and as long as they aren't crumpled, they don't wrinkle easily. The skirting is a cotton/poly broadcloth, it does have a few lines from folding, but since it's a dark colour, it's not that noticeable.

We roll our curtains on wooden dowels, it is great way to keep down wrinkling, then we use a bit of masking tape at the bottom to tape the end of the cloth to the rod. You could go to a fabric store and ask for one of their cardboard fabric tubes or squares, to roll your fabric on.

Re: How do you store your table linens

I bought polyester linens from linentablecloths.com, and never have issues with wrinkles, thank goodness. Before that, they were a MESS!

Re: How do you store your table linens

Mine are made out of a knit fabric so they really don't wrinkle - I keep mine wadded up in a duffle bag.

Re: How do you store your table linens

I bought polyester table cloths thinking they wouldn't wrinkle, but they do. I fold them neatly, but they always wrinkle anyway. Wish I had an answer.

Re: How do you store your table linens

Has anyone tried washing and drying until damp. Then folding? Does that help?

I Googled how to get wrinkle free cotton sheets and that came up several times so I wonder if it would work for the linens?

Re: How do you store your table linens

I made my own table covers out of crushed black velvet. It is not expensive and it is easy to sew two pieces together to get the right size. And it comes it lots of colors too. You can just wad it up and toss it in your bin/box/bag and it comes out looking great every time.

Re: How do you store your table linens

I fold long ways and hand them on hangers in the closet. Then transport in my car hanging on the hook over the back door. They stay pretty wrinkle free and mine are cotton fabric.
