Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

If you do, where does it link to?

I use mine as a graphic on my price tags and business cards. It links to my Etsy shop. I also did a sheet of my upcoming shows to give out and put QR codes for all of them that had an online presence. My info and QR is the last entry on the page.

Re: Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

I want to create a couple, and have them link up to different things (shop, website, FB), and track what's working best.

My husband was supposed to do some research on them, but I think he got distracted..... LOL!

Re: Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

I have a QR code to my Facebook page, as my Etsy and Folksy shops don't both have all the same items, but my Facebook has everything there. I don't know how to put it up at my craft fair stall though so that it would fit in.

What I do do though, is print it onto transfer paper, so that I can put it on the back of my items - as I've done a few commissions for local businesses. So people can scan them while they're chilling in the bar, or sitting in a waiting room, etc.

This is what I use and its easy. http://ugr.me. The reason I like is you can change from one place to the next ie webpage then to facebook then to specials you are doing and you only need one code. I have qr and use at shows.

Amy, have you found that people are using it? We were thinking about doing one but then we heard some stat that only like 3% of people use them, but I'm still interested....

Re: Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

I've been making a code for each show that I do that links to my Etsy store with a secret discount code for them so I can track each shows return customers.

People are just becoming accustom to them. With all the big companies using them in their advertising it will probably grow.

I saw a good idea last night for them and might actually try it out... There was a sign at my local bingo hall that my husband volunteers at that said "Like us on Facebook for a chance to win!" and they give away a free bingo packet.. Then they had a QR code on the sign. I might try that? Don't know though.

Re: Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

At shows where I can't bring my massive wood sign I have an 8x10 framed photo with my shop name and 2 QR codes. One to my Etsy and one to my FB. I don't think I have ever seen it used, lol.

Re: Does anyone have a QR code for their craft fair booth?

Alot of it depends on who your target group is. The younger crowd with smartphone are the ones who are going to use it the most. I know several people who offer prizes, contest, etc. If I notice that someone likes my pictures but are on the fence about buying something I would encourage them to scan and that allows me to conect with them in the future.

Based on my purely unscientific observation of shoppers at my booth, my demographic is the young hipsters who would have smart phones.
