Display Booth Colors

Hi! I am curious about what colors you use for your displays? I'm currently using black with forest green accent pieces because I think my jewelry shows well on black, but I'm concerned about it being too dark/depressing. Do brighter or lighter colors attract people better than dark colors? What about tan or brown? I'm thinking it would help if I made things a little brighter, but I also want it to look like a professional jewelry shop. Thank you!

Re: Display Booth Colors

Give it a try this time or next time and see how the public response. Booth displays take time to perfect. You'll have a better understanding of what makes your work POP when you have it laid out.

Re: Display Booth Colors

I don't think the particular colors that you use are that important as long as they are appropriate to your items & there is an overall cohesive look. JMO.

Re: Display Booth Colors

Thank you for the thoughts. I'm playing around with some colors and layouts in my design software in hopes of getting some ideas before I buy more stuff. I am just tired of the "bulky" and dark display I've been using for almost five years.

For my show this weekend, I am changing my color scheme. I am nervous about it, but sometimes change is good!!

Re: Display Booth Colors

Yellow & blue have always been my shop/booth colors. It's sort of a "brand" thing. The colors work well as a background for my many colored stuffed friends.

Re: Display Booth Colors

I LOVE bright colors so my booth is super colorful! I don't have a color scheme, although I do tend to use purple as accents :)

Re: Display Booth Colors

I go with tan, black, and white. My tables are usually white table cloths on the bottom with a tan or burlap overlay and my display pieces are white, black, or natural wood. Since my items are so colorful I want a neutral palatte and I personally prefer the light tan/burlap colored displays.

Re: Display Booth Colors

The colors of my booth is the colors of my shop banner. Burnt sienna, browns, and oranges. I recently bought fitted cloths to go under my colored toppers, the only color i could get was black fitted cloth as i didn't want white it ecu. I hope the black and burnt sienna doen't look like year round Halloween.

Re: Display Booth Colors

My challenge is my theme revolves around black and white, but I think I've ended up with too much black. My stands are black and my table cloths are black. I think I'm liking the idea of tan table cloths with the black stands and some dark-colored natural wood pieces thrown in. I could go broke just playing around with different ideas!
