Now that I've been here for about a year and I'm settled using etsy, I'm wanting to move my shop in a different direction in the new year.
Basically I'm wanting to start selling more historical pieces (since thats what my training focused on) and offer more of my own designs rather than things inspired by film and tv.
This brings me to my question. I'm looking for some advice from you lovely people. Do you know anything that might be useful in helping me shift my focus? I know I need to work on my titles, photos and tags etc, but any advice on what it is specifically I should be doing differently?
I have a vague idea of the markets I'm wanting to break into (re-enactors, theatrical groups etc) but I'm not exactly sure HOW to break into these markets.
Any adivce or links would be greatly appreciated!
