Help me! I need sales and don't know why I'm not getting them. o.O

I would appreciate any and ALL criticism on my shop. I am getting a lot of "favorites" on my items, but no sales. I have been on Etsy for years, and have had very few sales (6, I believe, with only two people leaving feedback). Is it my pictures? Are my prices too high (or too low)? Could it be my descriptions aren't descriptive enough? I am at a loss right now, and want to list more but want to know what I'm doing wrong with my current inventory before I do that. Thank you so much in advance! Please be honest. I can take it. :)

Hi Debbie,

I'm a newbie too and haven't had any sales yet, but here is my 2 cents anyway. The photographs look good to me, but the price is may be a tiny bit high. Also, I have heard advice that the more you list the more visible you become.

Thanks,
Anu

Thank you so much! I wondered about the prices, I have actually listed them on both the low and high side. I've heard that if you list them too high, people can't afford them (sometimes), but if you list them too low, people may look at them as "low quality." So it's kind of like a two-edged sword on that one. LOL I will try pricing them a bit lower, and try to get more items listed. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me your "two cents." I always love advice coming from other artisans. Good luck with yours, as well! :)

Hello!!
I like your things.....I agree some items are pricey...but they are handmade so if you think for time and the effort to make them warrants the tag then so beit. I think you need to exploit pin interest, Facebook etc and start favouriting things and setting up treasuries. I've had 6 sales in as many months but my stats definately spike with views when I list new stock and use the above and twitter....it's a snowball that you have push up hill but seems to work.

Am off to favourite some of your stuff now and post out...every little helps huh?
