Hi everyone! Welcome and thanks for joining this new team of ours! (I am also BeesQualityGarments).
To clarify regarding a BNS....it is similar to a BNR in that 14-16 shops are represented (featured)....other, non-featured, shops attend, promote and purchase from the featured shops. A list of buyers is kept (called "the next round"). When sales total 14 (or whatever curator has decided), the current round is over, all those who bought are now the featured shops and "the next round" can begin. If sales are hopping, the curator may decide to immediately go into the next round, or wait until some other time. I have seen as many as 4 rounds take place in just one morning when sales were really rocking!
I prefer these, as you can attend, buy in, and then go about your business until your shop is featured in "the next round". Curators will convo you when your round is starting. Sometimes, Curators have a set start time for the next round, so, you will know when your shop is "up". Of course, you can hang out for the whole show if you want to.
So, olskool, the major difference between these two is, the BNS keeps a running list for featured shops (the buyers) who will be in the next round, whereas the BNR immediately replaces the currently featured shop with the shop who bought from them. It is best to be at BNRs the whole time. If someone buys from you, your shop is OUT (no longer featured) and you may want to "buy back in" (to be featured again).
Also, in a BNR, no shop can purchase from a single shop twice, unless that shop has 2 spots in the treasury. In a BNS, because all of the shops are available the entire sale, several shops can purchase from a single shop.
Both are great for getting to know other shop owners, giving your shop exposure, and hopefully, getting a few sales too!
As Jalall says, it is all a learning curve!
Hope to see you Monday at 10am EST!
