Personally, my two cents is that sales are a bad idea. If people see you have sales, they'll wait to buy something when it goes on sale again. On the flip side, your existing customers won't like it when they see something they just bought go on sale at a lower price. If you make your own work, be proud of it and stand behind the price you offer to sell it for....if you don't make your own work or if you buy it and just ad something to it it might be different.
