Story - three words at a time

just saw this idea posted in another thread here at CleverBunny so i thought i'd start a new game for us!

this will be a story built three words at a time. i start by posting three words, then you post three words to continue the story.

the story begins:

It was a...

above high overhead

producing cawing sounds

echoing off hills...

and into the

wild horses ears!

The horses did

trot prettily up

the embankment, while

prairie dogs scampered

[InspirationByFlorna]

into their holes

[PeachyChicBoutique]

wild foxes looked

[InspirationByFlorna]

startled as the

[PeachyChicBoutique]

cougar jumped down

[InspirationByFlorna]

to catch the

[Memmy]

fluffy fleeing rabbit.

The foxes were

LOL, Memmy:)

brushing their tails

[katzs4]

with long curved

[InspirationByFlorna]

branches, which they

[katzs4]

cut from a

[InspirationByFlorna]

fern tree, that

[PeachyChicBoutique]

grew along the

[gothicrow]

flowing, glistening creek

[PeachyChicBoutique]

with little fishes

[Memmy]

swimming merrily along.
