Shipping

Is there any way to figure shipping besides going to the furthest zip code from where one lives, and then refunding the difference? (I'd rather not have to deal with refunds.)

My bibs are easy because they each weigh 2 ounces with packaging, but the pin cushions I make using vintage & recycled glassware all weigh differently, and, of course, you don't know how much actual shipping's going to be until an item's sold, and you have to put shipping costs on your listing.

And I don't want to ship priority using the USPS-provided boxes because of the exorbitant cost--I DO want to sell my pin cushions, and I don't want the shipping cost to derail a sale.

Re: Shipping

Here is what would do. I would weigh items you sell quite regularly and get those figures written down. Then you can work out (as a base) what things will cost you. Another suggestion is to do flat rates up to a certain weight. Some customers will pay a little more but some will pay less. It might make life much simpler? What do you think? Are any of you over in Twitter? If you are we have got the re-launch of #CreativeHour every Monday 19.30 GMT UK. I would love to RT some of your creations? Mrs CCC xxx
