How long does each bag take you to knit?

The market bags usually take 6-8 hours, depending on the detailing involved.

Gift bags take much less, but it depends on the size. A 3" x 3" bag in stockinette and single crochet trim takes less than an hour, but my largest size was 12" x 14" with shell trim, and took a few hours to finish and detail.

you should see if any small gift stores in your area or even small book stores would let you consign your items in their store....

I plan on doing that in the future, and craft fairs...and farmers markets. LOL I have to build up more inventory, get together more money, and have more time for leg work.

I have two disabled kids, so I've either got tons of time on my hands, or none at all. Never enough money, my older son racks up the medical bills.

Whimsy, don't be so quick to dismiss the store idea. It's perfect for a person with a lot on her plate. You don't need a ton of product, you drop it off, they sell it, checks come. The hard part is getting brave enough to approach stores!
