What shall we chat about today?

What comes to my mind this morning is the news about Michelle Obama not wearing the head covering. My first thought was, go Michelle, don't bow down to the head covering. And then I learned that many other women have visited and not worn the head covering. They weren't in the news so why is Michelle in the news about it?

Someone said it was the Obama haters starting the story, but if it was, why was it in the news? My understanding is that the media is for Obama.

Hello! The "media" isn't all one source, so it's always 50/50 on people in the media being supportive/dismissive of our president.

Did you hear about the Skymall magazine filing for bankruptcy? I like that magazine! Especially for someone like me who frequently travels. (For those who are not familiar, Skymall is the magazine found on airplanes on the back of the seats.)

Hi. No, I didn't hear about that. I don't fly much anymore since I left Alaska, but enjoyed Skymall when I did. As I remember, it had a lot of out of the everyday items and expensive.
