So here I am getting ready for new shows......putting on price tags, revamping some display boxes I use and making signage......well, I realized I do not have to make signs that say "ring boxes, little girls gift, desk trays etc.,......all I have to do is put the items out and a customer can decide what they want to do with it!!!! WOW, SEO is still in my brain, and since I never seemed to get that right here on Etsy, I guess it is now time to rethink things. Hope everyone is having a fine night. Just sharing that even though there is life after Etsy, it sure does sit in our brains for awhile....I am laughing out loud.
I know what you mean, I just got some listings done and was just thinking what a tedious task to do, my eyes are sore now from all that clicking and staring at the screen -.-
I've been wondering too how selling goes if I just put my art work out on a table, at least I can "see" the "traffic" instead of checking on "views" that don't really exist these days.
@Artbesico Hi again.....well putting it on a table at a show gives you instant feedback.....customers either want it or they walk away. I have always felt this way on Etsy....i sell boxes....there are only so many things I can say about it....it is a box, got really tired of trying to "suggest" what it is for......gift,little girl box, desk tray.....blah.blah, blah. I think I made the right decision, for me. I will let you know how it goes......maybe something for you to consider? I am not young and it is a lot of work, buy hey, I have to try right?
Totally agree with you @ngeorgiou I'm not great with doing listing description either, not good in self promoting or marketing. Doing a show or selling in person can be a daunting task, needs courage.
Yes, the only tag you need at a show is the price tag. :)
Good one bgbg =]
@boygirlboygirldesign Now that is funny and so right......thanks for the laugh.
