Feels Like Spring

It's in the 70's here in Western PA. Unusual but welcome. Things are starting to poke up in my gardens although it's a bit early for that. We can still get cold weather and even snow but it's so nice to have a warm day. I even opened the windows. Considering some people are in the middle of a blizzard I'd say I am lucky to have a beautiful day. How's your weather?

I love seeing daffodils, usually the first sight of Spring. It's still pretty cold here, under 10'C today and it's very windy, bitterly chilled to the bone kind of wind brrrr ~ 

I'm still trying to put off not turning on the heating yet but probably will need to now, don't want to catch a cold.

I just opened a window also.....such a treat to go outside without a coat and boots!!!  Also in PA and we know it can still snow, but let's enjoy it for today!!!

I also love soaking up the sun, it was cold outside today but the sun was shining. Sunny and blue sky, lovely weather.

Still have a foot of snow on the ground in Upstate NY, but it will be 60 tomorrow, and then 30 the day after. Looking forward to some of this melting, but not the freezing melteds! No open windows quite yet- but hopeful. April 16 is the official cutoff for no more snow. We did have snow twice last April. Itching to see growth again outside, and our regular birds, nesting in the vines and nooks and crannies on the house. We usually get 8-10 nests on the porch eaves and vines by the studio door, and over front door, and view them everyday. It's so fun to watch the eggs hatch, and the babes grow. Looking forward to Spring!

That's awesome that the weather is so nice in PA! and upstate N.Y.

My friend in PA texts me when it's 2 degrees and then again when it's 8 degrees saying " it's warm now! 8 degrees- haha"

It's suppose to be in the upper 70's tomorrow, sunny, clear, but somewhat windy. It's been windy here the past few days, spoiling what would otherwise be perfect weather. However the winds are predicted to die down by late afternoon and Sunday is going to be around 80F! Yahoo!

Sunny today, blue sky with white clouds but temperature only 7'C with a cold biting wind. Hope weather stays sunny tomorrow, got a long drive to do and have to start the day from dawn, early in the morning.

Back to a few more days of winter. Had some flurries yesterday and today is chilly. Hoping for sunny skies for you Art.

Thanks bgbg, I sure hope it's not gonna rain, it will slow down traffic and bad condition to drive. I remember one time it was like a thunder storm, lightning and all, rain was pouring. It was still dark, middle of the night and with the heavy rain, it was hard to see. It was frightening driving like thath on the motorway.

Today the temperature is suppose to get up to 81F, right now at 10:23 am it is 73F, sunny, and clear. A gorgeous day. First time it has been in the '80's since mid-November. So many people running around in shorts right now!

I've seen danfodils on the road side when I was driving the other day, first sight of Spring =D
