All in One computers. Opinions?

Anyone have an All in One computer or have any experience with them? I am thinking about buying one and just curious if anyone knows anything about them.

I'm not sure what they are. I have a Mac Book Pro laptop. Is that an all in one? It has the keyboard and mouse built in .

Anyway, I love it. If i need to connect it to my t.v. to watch Netflix or what not, I just use a special usb cable to connect the two.

And If i want to take it outside, I just switch it to wifi.

It's a desk top but there is only a keyboard and a screen. You just plug it in and connect to your wi-fi. No modem. Everything is built into the screen.

All-in-one (AIO) desktop PCs are pretty cool but why not just buy a laptop that you can carry around =]

I've been going back and forth. I don't like laptops that much and I don't have much need to carry one around. I like the big screen monitors that the AIO's have. My daughter's school bought them for all the office employees and they like them a lot. My table drumming husband has retired and we only have one PC and he's been on it a lot so I thought I'd finally get one for my office.

I used to have a desktop, first three were desktops, never liked laptops but my forth was a laptop and I've grown to like it. As long as I don't have to use the mouse trackpad on the laptop I'm happy =]  I use a wireless mouse. The desktop tower was very heavy and took up a lot of space.

I like big screen monitors too, just the screen and a keyboard, I would say go for it =]  So excited to get a new computer bgbg congrats =D

Does your table drumming husband drums on the desk when he is on the computer? I hope he is not mouse desk drummig too >=]

No, Art, he doesn't drum at the computer. LOL Just dining table. I really am leaning towards th AIO. If we traveled a lot I'd probably get the laptop but we only go twice a year to the west coast to see his kids in CA and OR.

Thanks for your encouragement Art. The bigger the screen the better. Not sure yet. I hate spending the money but I am excited as well.

Love my laptop and use the wifi when i want to use it in front of the T.V. or in the summertime sitting out on the deck.
