So I just received an email for the vendor application.
I have few concerns. I make custom and handmade knives. I can provide a dozen or so custom fine knives in time for the show in Sept. However, am I really good fit for it? If not, what about all those people that make large items (furniture's)?
There's no way I'm giving a free knife for the swag bag when knives are worth a lot.
I have already spread the event information to my colleagues, friends and family all who are (where) planning to attend and show support.
I guess I'm upset and disappointed it's not as flexible or open-minded as I thought it would be. Especially when the email states
"We’re looking for variety in the type of work accepted. The jurors will select a diverse group of vendors in order to offer the best shopping experience. Some categories are more saturated than others but we encourage everyone to apply"
