Good Morning! I always loved chat rooms. It's such a great way to meet people. I mostly sell vintage glassware, but I'm so frustrated because my server is not in business anymore!! So that means I have about 1,200 items to realist when we get our new host. Talk about A lot to type. I still have all my pictures, thankfully. So I'm glad to find a place where I can kick off my shoes (well, let's rethink that!) and give the head a chance to get back to normal again. But then again, what is "normal"? 😜

Hey! I'm new to this as well, was having difficulty with the direct deposit. I mostly paint and draw, I have a lot of older artwork I could post, but I'm on my way to college and I'm only posting what I make from now on, hopefully this works out!

Hi all! I just opened my etsy shop a few days ago selling handmade paper flowers and party decor! So excited about this new venture, after years of pondering when to start! By the way, how long does it take to make your first sale? I haven't had any yet but am optimistic and adding more items. Best.

It took me almost a month to make my first sale. It's helpful if you can set up a Facebook page to get your name out there. I've heard that things pick up the closer we get to big holidays. The first run I did through Etsy didn't go well because I didn't invest the time I should have. Pinterest has been a good place to promote as well. Make sure to add a link to your items and make a separate one for your shop adding a discount code if possible.
There is a ton of info out there to help you to get things moving.
