I'm Laura and just joined this group. I have 5 cats, 3 were rescued from euthanasia at shelters. One of those "death row" cats is my profile pic, a Persian mix named Kimchi b/c she bit a child. Well now she is the child and is spoiled rolling in catnip toys. :)

I'm Muriel and I have 4 cats, all of whom were rescues. Their names are Fanny, Daisy Pippin (Pippy), Cowboy Sherman, and Matilda. They share our home with a Doberman named Annie, and two horses (who live in the barn), Princess and Tonweya. I wouldn't trade them for the world...they are my children.

I'm Jacquie. I have just two cats, both girls; an eighteen year old tabby with attitude called Minuet (she came to us as a six week old kitten with her twin sister called Trio, and who we very sadly lost 18 months ago to illness) and a very cuddly diabetic tortie called ChouChou, who we rescued as a tiny kitten. As you'd expect, they rule the house - best spots on the sofa and bed! I wouldn't change them for the world and hope they live to be very very old!

My name is Lisa! I have one kitty. She's a little orange tabby named Tuffy and she is the farthest thing from "tough," though she likes to think she's a hot shot.

My husband found her 6 years ago on a bitter cold November day in a box on the side of the road that said "Free Kittens." She was the last one and such a little runt. She is happy and healthy now, but still a little tiny thing.

My desk is right at the window and she loves to hang out with me while I work and list on Etsy. (In fact, she's sitting here on my desk as I type this). She's our little buddy, for sure :)

But I really like your theme (and Team name), because I have two lovely cats, Dune is the oldest (female) and little BlackJack is the youngest (who I rescued from the street) with only 6 months old. And he's right now sleeping on my lap. I work from my home and they make such company for me, that I didn't know how life would be for me if i didn't have these lovely friends all the time with me.

Hi catfolks,

just thought I might share a dream I recently had about Snowy Baby Jnr my white British shorthair cat.
The dream: I am lying flat across 2 seats on a bus, travelling somewhere, the bus is quite full. Snowy is with me, he walks down my stomach and towards the end of the bus, I watch him and he wriggles on the carpeted floor and attracts a lot of attention and pats from fellow passengers. I hear him purring.

What often happens at night; I am sleeping and Snowy walks on my stomach. I wake up, he then walks beside me, wriggles around and sits next to me on the bed purring.

I must have been tired!

Hello everyone! I am Lisa-Lin and live in Dallas. I have six cats--5 are related. In 2006, I took in 3 kittens from a neighbor who had 20. Yes, 20. I was in denial the 3 I took in were boys. The 'runt' had 4 babies under my bed. Two found homes, the other 2.--nobody wanted. So I have the Mom, Dad, Uncle, and two sons. I was always a two cat household...*sigh*. I still can't believe it. The 6th cat was one who lived in my shed for 8 months, until I realized she was a girl. I couldn't handle the thought of kittens in my shed.....The profile photo is Noir. I sat at Starbucks, in the heat, trying to talk a co-worker into taking him. She wanted a girl. I think I am the lucky one.

I'm Erik and my wife is Amanda. We live in the woods in Oregon among other things make some tie dyes to sell here on etsy and on our website Made By Hippies. We started with one cat then got two sisters. Then we took in a cat from the woods and a while later she had some babies, then the dad cat showed up so now we have 9 cats living with us. We love our cats!

We also have 7 goats and 6 chickens.

So glad to be part of a cat lover's team. Cats are such intelligent, sensitive, and comical creatures. My husband and I are veterinarians, and at one time we had 9 cats, all rescued from euthanasia. Over the years as they passed away from old age we have not replaced them, preferring to give more individual attention to those that remained. We now have one 18 year old female, Kitty Doo Da, who is still very healthy and frisky, and who I hope lives another ten years. A cat is an artist's best friend!

I'm Anne, and I am allowed to share the house with my two cats, Angie and Bon Bon. Angie came from the streets and invited herself into our home in 2008, and Bon Bon was adopted from a local rescue as a kitten. Both are my best friends, and we spend a lot of time together! They keep me on task with my new cat toy business, Oddball Cat Toys. Angie is pictured in my profile. :-)

Love the name for this team. My daughter saved a red male cat from her student home (wasn't taken care of properly), which is probably one of the most psychotic cats I know (and I have owned quite a few). Guess there is just something about those red cats.. :)

Hi everyone, I am Katy and I am owned by 6 cats, 3 girls and 3 boys: Pete she was my first (yes she, she is my photo girl to the left). Then came OB Wan Kitty he is a great big orange tom cat, next came Sasha. Next came Maxx from a great shelter called "Crashes Landing". The last two are Gumdrop and Sami, Gumdrop. All of my cats except Maxx were throw-a-ways that some did not want or were dumped along the road. There is an invisible sign in front of my house that welcomes strays.
I have just listed two cat beds in my shop and hope to add more soon so please stop by and visit.

I am afraid to say that I have a dog.... :-) but interestingly enough, cats really seem to like me. This past Xmas I designed dog bone magnets for folks that own a dog and they were great gifts.
While visiting family, I realized that I had forgot something....something for the cat lovers. Oops.

Hello we are a mother - daughter team and we love cats we have 8 cats all are rescued from the streets. Many years ago we had 20 that was a big problem!!!
The oldest is a female named Serafina and she is 19 years old she is very strong for her age , we have 5 more cats 14 years old and 2 more cats 6 years old, those are the "babies" of the family.
It is a pleasure of us to be part of this team.

Hi, i'm a potter and am owned by a boy tiger kitty named mew. He was a stray that was living under a trailer that we were housed in after hurricane charley in 2004. When we finished rebuilding he came home with us. I also seem to be known in cat community as the house with free eats. Currently 4 strays stop by once in a while for dinner. A gray deaf tom cat, a small black cat i thought was a half grown kitten til she showed up with a kitten of her own and an orange tiger tom that looks like a gangly teenager. The only one of the 4 i an touch is the deaf gray, he will lick milk off my finger, they are all feral.

Hi I am Bebby and I have a black cat named Alice. She was a rescue cat and was found wandering and scavaging in an alley way so they named her Ally. I decided it wasn't a great name for her, so she is now known as Alice in Wanderland. At the moment she is sleeping soundly on my bed! I like to knit images of her on small sweaters for children!
