New to Etsy and this team.

Hi folks! I just joined Etsy not too long ago and I finally figured out the team thing. Naturally I wanted to join up with some fellow cat lovers. I am a 43 year old woman with asperger's and complex post-traumatic stress disorder. My husband works full time but I am unable to work outside the home. So I'm hoping this will be a way to bring in a little bit of extra money and help with the bills.

I make KatMats , which are crocheted mats for cats that are longgg like your kitty when she stretches out. My cats loved them so much that I decided to make them to sell to other kitty lovers. I also donate some to shelters.

It's a pleasure to virtually meet you all. If anyone has any tips for newbs, please let me know- I'd love to hear them.

Welcome, fellow cat lady! As someone with mild Asperger's, I find Etsy a dream-come-true where I can interact with people without the stress of direct social interaction!! My best tip is to slowly make your way through the Seller Handbook-- It's a little overwhelming at first, but just take one tip at a time and try it out.
