As a stage IIb Colorectal cancer survivor, I believe it is my responsibility to inform others YOUNG and OLD to be aware of colon cancer. The only history of colon cancer was my paternal uncle and he was the age that one typically gets a dx of colon cancer. I received my dx at age 32 and my cancer likely started in my late 20's.
