Hello Canadian Sellers!

My name is Nada and I'm the Seller Growth Manager here at the Etsy Canada office. This space will be used as an opportunity to connect directly with Canadian sellers. Thrilled about Direct Checkout? Have tips to share about shipping? Cool stories from your team? We want to hear about it! This is our direct line to you to discuss new announcements that impact Canadian sellers as well as opportunities for exposure!

Let's keep it positive and honest. Please do not use this space to promote your shop, there are plenty of amazing teams for that, but the purpose of this team is to keep it Canada specific.

Have suggestions for how to make this team awesome? Share with us in the comments below!

Hey guys. I just opened my shop about a month ago and recently received an email from MyGreenBag UK. They sent me the following PDF: https://img0.etsystatic.com/031/0/33038333/icm_fullxfull.35634452_h81lanlpaq880swswssw.pdf

I'm assuming it's spamish in nature, but I just wanted to see what people think of it and if others have received it as well...

THanks. Love the team. Spend way too much time on Etsy now thanks to you! hehe.

Natasha.

Hello Nada,
Thanks for making this space available. I was hoping you could help me as I'm a new shop. I believe I have registered my shop correctly but when I enter words like "weddings or wish or tree" in the search engine, my items do not come up? The only way to find my shop within the Etsy search engine is if I write "WishTreeDesigns"? I believe I've used all relating tags that would make sense for my product but perhaps I'm missing something?
Thanks for your help and have a wonderful day.

Hey there, so it's actually called Made in Canada Day. We will be sharing instructions on how to apply to be apart of MIC in the next few weeks!

Ouch.
That name completely excludes Vintage shops :(
Supply shops might feel welcome, because they provide the parts that people make 'made in Canada' items with, so it makes sense. But Vintage shops? I would not feel welcome to participate.

It looks like everything has been set up now for September 27th?

I guess only Captains/Leaders that were able to attend the summit were privy to all the info?

Hi All,
I just joined this team and am looking forward to sharing the energy! I live and work in Ottawa, the nation's capital. Kitschy Chic began selling in July of this year- so still a newbie (despite having reserved the name several years ago pending the trademark). Please stop by and take a look when you have a moment! Looking forward to sharing! Nelusha
