Request for Etsy Canada Team

Just a friendly and polite request? I would love to see more activity on this team, but I often just check by looking under my teams (shows only a few discussion thread topics - like a summary from each team I'm on). All I see there (for this team) are posts that are old and I've already read.

Would you consider un-pinning a few discussion threads from the top so more recent activity will show below? I learn so much from keeping up to posts from many teams, and am glad to help when I can.

I've noticed the same thing. Tasha, I haven't tried this, but alternatively (if you're not already getting overwhelmed by email) on the left-hand side bar of our teams there's a "Subscribe to email digest" link. When you subscribe to a team digest it emails you when there are updates to the forum.

Hi Tasha!

Thanks for the feedback! This team is run by Etsy admin and it's really an opportunity for us to announce new product launches and Canadian-specific opportunities.

That being said, we encourage conversation among members, absolutely! It's just that the main function for this team is for Canadian Etsy admin to connect with Canadian sellers.

There are so many wonderful, active teams run by Etsy members that I would encourage you to also participate in. Just go to etsy.com/teams and type in a specific location or topic and a ton of teams will show up!

As Ola mentioned, it's a good idea to subscribe to the digest so that when new discussions get pinned, you'll be notified.

I kind of agree with them, theres at least 3-4 pinned discussions that are from 2013 and don't really seem relevant now...?
