Is it possible to record "off Etsy" sales in our stats?

I understand that by using the Etsy App we are supposed to be able to make a cash sale from our listings. When I tried it I got a message that this is not available in Canada. Is there another way to do it? Maybe I did something wrong?

I have sold numerous items to family and friends and think it would look good if I could somehow show those sales on Etsy...

I haven't tried it, but is it only in the US at the moment? Seems like they get all the cool toys ;)

I found this:

"You must have Direct Checkout enabled as a payment method for your shop in order to accept In-Person Payments. Currently, In-Person Payments is only supported for members with active shops in the US."

So it looks as though it is only for shop in the US right now.

I ask the client/family member to create an Etsy profile then I create a PRIVATE CUSTOM listing for what I've sold to them.
This way I can define the price and shipping etc. and they can complete the transaction using a credit card or PayPal. Also, since it is a private listing, the details of the price are only viewable to the client and myself. Anyone looking at my SOLD listings will only see SOLD as the price and be shown other items in my shop that are similar.
Seems to work for me... hope it helps you all out in Canada Etsy Land.
