HELP??!!

in my shop, the buyer has the option to choose a size for the item.. Items under 6" are shipped differently than the ones that are larger than 6" how would I do the shipping for this with calculated shipping?

Re: HELP??!!

You can't set up different shipping costs on variations in one listing.

You either have to figure shipping based on the heaviest item or average it out or set up separate listings.

Re: HELP??!!

I just want to add that some people add the extra shipping cost into their item price for the larger sizes. But as Pat said, otherwise, you either have to come up with an average or use the highest and refund for the smaller sizes. That means putting in the larger dimensions and weight for calculated shipping.

Admin has said they plan on working on variations in the new year - there are a number of things with them that need work and one is this shipping problem.

The problem is the same for the other shipping method as well - only one shipping cost or profile can be attached to any one listing.

Re: HELP??!!

Kaylan, it looks like you sell decals which I would assume are very light to ship. Do you know that starting January 17 USPS is changing rates and at that time up to 8 ounces will all cost the same for first class?

So whether you package is 2 ounces or 8 ounces the price will be the same so it may not make that much difference for your items.
