Let's help each other! Critique thread

I'd love to start a shop advice thread, where we can ask for critiques of our shop and receive feedback from the rest of the team. Part of selling here is just having our photos in top shape!

I'd love some feedback, and like helping people improve their shops too, so if you're interested, just ask here!

Hi Judy!

I love your photos- plenty of light, and the background is neat but not distracting (except for two that have grass in the background- maybe you could take those with the orangey background too). And, the photos are nicely composed- the items fill most of the frame, so it doesn't look like there's wasted space. The only thing I can think of to recommend would be to add a close-up of each item so people can see the lovely wood texture or some of the fun things you've added to each house. I like the close-up of the house with the copula!

I think your pricing is great. I hope it's fair to you, considering the time it must have taken to make each of these!

I'm wondering- did you build the houses themselves, or buy them pre-made? Potential buyers might want to know this. And, if you built them yourself, where did you get the wood?

Policies look good.

Gasp! Where's your About page?! Use this page to tell some of your story- like walking through the foothills and making crafts all your life. Add some friendly photos of you, family, your shop, whatever helps to tell your story.

I like the banner too- simple, rustic, easy to read!

Hope that helps!
