This is a really a message to Etsy, but it seems to be hard to contact them directly. I am both a buyer and a seller, but as a shop I find I'm spending a ridiculous amount of time talking to customers about when their dispatch is scheduled. I have to make things out of sugar and let them dry for 1 week+ before I can ship them but more and more I'm finding that buyers have not noted the eta, then are disappointed. It's starting to interfere with my business. Etsy should have a pro-forma message that appears when you place an order to remind buyers VERY CLEARLY when their items are likely to arrive and tell them to contact the seller if that is not going to work for them. It's taking me so long to deal with, to avoid upsetting customers and getting negative feedback, that I'm going to have to start putting my prices up to account for admin time soon... or just stop having an on-line shop.
