Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi Sheena, I guess I'll be the first to post.

My name's Michelle and I make jewelry - it's a hobby that I've enjoyed for years now. I'm located in New Brunswick. I can't wait to get involved with this team, and hopefully do some networking here!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

I'll introduce myself too I guess!

My name is Sheena, and I'm a graphic design student finishing my BFA (a year left!) I've lived in Montreal (and the surrounding areas) all my life.

I love making designy things, and I have a passion for print design... In my shop you'll find cards and notebooks and eventually lots of other paper goodies! :D

Re: Introduce Yourself!

I am in Parksville, BC (Vancouver Island). I am so lucky to be able to buy from Farms and Markets for most of my food needs. Now I would like to see if I can buy and sell within the Canadian Marketplace. I machine embroider tea towels.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi everyone! I love this team - buying local and supporting fellow Canadians is a priority for me so I'm so glad to be a part of this team.

I just recently completed my Master's in English while simultaneously planning and getting married to my best friend and love of my life for the past ten years. I teach a variety of arts courses at a private high school in Toronto. I only started designing jewelry for my wedding about a year ago, but I've loved the learning process. Plus, who doesn't love Etsy?! :)

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hey everyone! I'm Shirley. I'm so glad I found this team; I'm a huge advocate of buying local whenever possible!

I am a housewife and stay at home mom. I don't really do a whole lot other than raise my children and create things, and occasionally clean my house. when I have to. lol On top of my two shops, I also crochet when I can.

I'm located in Hamilton, Ontario. I'm very excited to have recently found a local shop (just down the street from me!) that sells leather, so I'm very happy that I don't have to buy online anymore! YAY!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi everyone! My name is Mary and I live on the Gaspe Coast of Quebe. I am a very creative person and I fill my busy days with wanting to do too much. I am the Director of a small community museum by day and at night I keep busy knitting my wool felted slippers, hats, cats and other items. I am also writing a book at this time. My dream is to someday walk away from my day job and spend my time writing and creating enough to support myself.
I am happy to be a part of this team and believe in supporting the local economy and small busineeses in Canada. Small shops like the ones we see here on Etsy are vital to the well being of our country and if we have a chance to buy on here, it will make a difference.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hello :)
I am from Vancouver BC and I am so happy to find this team! Glad to know there are other sellers from Canada who are supporting buying locally.
I recently quit my corporate job of 10 years to work on my clothing line full time. I am a mother of a beautiful daughter and I have found my calling to stay at home and raise her and be able to design and sew and make money. Thank you Etsy!!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi! I'm so glad to find this group. It sounds like a lot of fun!

I am a mom to 2 boys and a sweet baby girl. My hubby is a youth pastor here in Victoria, BC. We just moved here from Regina, SK and I opened my shop in July! It's been doing decently well but I'd love to be doing more. I'm hoping to specialize more in baby bibs as I'm finding it's my favorite product that I am very proud of.

I am relatively new to etsy but this year I bought a large number of gifts for Christmas online here.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hello, I just reopened my shop on Dec 21st as I had a shop 2 years ago under a another name but never finished adding items to it. My sister and I sell bath, beauty and knitwear and have been doing so since 2002 at Moss Street Market. Last year we added 2 other markets to our schedule. We love being creative and working in our studio creating luxury products for your skin.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hello everyone,
I live in Calgary, AB and have recently gotten going with selling my wares in the last few months. I'm always looking for local (or at least Canadian) suppliers for the supplies I need for my Kumihimo bracelets (ie: seed beads, yarn, satin cord, etc.). I'm looking forward to hanging out here
Mel.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new seller to etsy and I'm so glad I found this group. I bought quite a few things from etsy before, but I always found it hard to find Canadian sellers. (Still, it's never to late to find the group!)

I started my shop to display some stuff I make for my kids as well as the kids of friends and family. I know I shop here often now that I've found etsy, so I'm hoping for a bit of success. We'll see:)

Please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Roxzann
