If you use Twitter to promote your etsy shop, listings or treasuries, then you know that having a strong following is important for re-tweets and click through.

Simply post your twitter url below.

Here's mine, it will look like this:

Then follow (on twitter) everyone above you AND come back every few days and follow those who post below you. Following on twitter means clicking on every url which will take you away from etsy to twitter, hit follow and then your back button to get back to etsy.

DO NOT POST YOUR LISTINGS ON THIS THREAD.

Just post the url to your twitter account. If you do not have a twitter account and want one but do not know how, post that too and someone will help you I am sure.

I don't tweet. I have never figured out how to do it, and if I did I don't think I would have any followers. How do you do this?

Oh, you'll have followers, no problem. The etsy community is very strong tweeters. If you follow them, they follow back and the customers are there too. When you make treasuries, if you tweet them, they get much more exposure.
Open a twitter account.
Then follow me above and I will follow you. Then, you go through my followers and find etsy people that look interesting and follow them. They will usually follow you back. Once your feed starts rolling, you will see other tweeters whose posts look interesting. If you like a post retweet it. You can use the little blue and white bird icon in every listing here on etsy to tweet your items. If you have been re-tweeting others, they will re-tweet your items. There is more to it, but that is how to start. If you have more questions, just quest on this thread so that everyone can benefit.

Oh, and once you have a twitter account, you can link it to your etsy shop so that customers can follow you. When you post new listings, tweet them and yiur customers will know that you just listed something.
