Showcase spot

How in the world are you suppose to purchase a spot on showcase? everything is booked!! I'm trying to promote my new shop using this tool, but I find it impossible!!
Yikes!!
Can anyone tell me how far in advance the slots are booked?
I will be working on a facebook page for etsy ,but I thought in the for the time I'd use this type of promotion....hmm frustrated I'm lost out in the etsy world!!

I have come to the conclusion you most likely have to work for Etsy, because the popular showcases are ALWAYS booked up.

The showcases are usually a waste. It's usually the newbies who do them because we think since they are always booked they must be good, but they aren't. Save your money and get a paid ad on Facebook or somewhere. Have you found them to work for you? I've done two and both were a waste of money for me.

I too have more success with facebook ads than I do with the showcases. Although the showcases do get me more traffic than a non show case day, facebook ads get me even more traffic.
