Inventory Software

HI!
We are a fairly new shop but our business and inventory is starting to grow quickly. We are currently selling consignment in two stores in addition to selling here on etsy. We have plans for even more stores over the next few months. And in order to keep what sells straight from what is still in our inventory - we need software (better then excel). Does anyone have anything they can recommend to us? Something free or fairly inexpensive would be a bonus :)

I too am interested in any information available about inventory software. A friend and I are starting a smal retail location in a booming beachside community, and plan on carrying consigned handmade items from artists and craftspeiple like ourselves...but managing the inventory is a huge questionmark, and from what I have seen can be quite costly.

Any comments are welcomed!
