How to get out there

I am hoping that someone can explain to me, how you get your shop out there? I have opened my own shop, and I am having trouble getting my name out there. Can someone please help me? Thanks

I use social media heavily. I use it for networking, socially and to advertise. It's good stuff!

Does anyone who reads this go outside of Etsy to places like Google Adwords and place small ads that may cost money? Or other places besides Twitter, FB, Pinterest? I'd really appreciate any info you're willing to share- this is the start of my thrid year in business, I'm revamping my shop to make it reflect my niche better, and most important, it is the year I'm determined to be operating in the BLACK.
