If I offer framing or other customized services which involve raising the price on an item, how do I go about adjusting the price if someone orders it? Also, being new to Etsy, how do you price the shipping if you have no idea where it's going or what it's going to cost?

My advise for the shipping would be to go to the Post office. I always try to keep my shipping rates as low as I can get them with out losing money. I would calculate the different size boxes you would use and then make a trip to the post office during a time when they are not busy. I know the post office by me is almost dead in the morning.
