I am a leathersmith who enjoys making modern handgun holsters with a western flair. I currently specialize in Colt 1911 handguns but also produce a wide variety of items that may interest the team.

Re: Who makes... and who uses?

I do both. I've used knives and outdoor gear for years, and started making knives years ago. I have designed almost all the knives I build. I enjoy the design process, since I have come to learn what works and what doesn't in a bushcraft, hunting, or camping knife.

As far as other gear, I use a wide variety but don't currently make any of it for sale.

Re: Who makes... and who uses?

Do a lot of hand repairs on my gear and decided to build up a nice rugged field sew kit. Specialized waxed thread for outdoor repairs. Enjoy making myself and others more self sufficient when leaving the quarters.
Great products in this group!!!
