Hello Team ,
back in 2011 when i started this team i felt there was a real lack of Burlesque team(anship) there was a Burlesque team but it seemed pretty much dormant.
So i had a lot of time on my hands ( fertility treatments meant i wasn´t performing) and was making mostly Burlesque inspired pieces. I decided to create this team, thinking there were people just like me hoping for a place we could share inspiration and challenges to keep us creative and on our toes.
I wonder whether its the fact that we all create such similar items therefore essentially we are competing for customers is what has led this team to be such a non starter . . . or whether we are all just Part timers splitting our time between our show girl careers and creativity and we just don´t have the time to be Team active.
I tried to share the responsibility , hoping some of the members would take an active part in sharing the team work , but nobody really took a shine to any of my suggestions and it began to get disheartening.
As i gave up on having babies my career took off and i hardly create at all anymore let alone have the time to focus on promoting or inspiring others. I feel like i have failed this team and i would like to hand over the Captaincy hat to someone who wants it....
i am a member of a regional team which is made up of all kinds of sellers, everyone is so dedicated and shares the work of their team mates with such gusto it´s really nice.
I am glad that some of you still post occasionally.
