My blog's voice - is it that bad?

Hi everyone! :)

Nice to meet you all! :) Just so you know a bit about me as I just subscribed to this team - thanks for having me btw! :) - my name is Maxime, I'm 26 and live in Montreal. I've had Kirameku (a jewelry and illustration shop) since 2008.

I was hoping I could ask for your help for a bit. I've picked up blogging seriously a year ago and I love it! I had started my blog back in 2009 but had to stop for personal reasons.

Anyways, I was speaking about it in a FB group this weekend, and someone pointed out my blog voice wasn't clear and that she didn't understood my goals behind my articles. She didn't meant it in a bad way - it was an overall blog critique - but still, I went ''outch''.

Could you give me your thoughts on it?
Is my blog voice so unclear and my content not that appealing? :S

I actually got to know your shop through blogging. It was way back when. I didn't know you were still blogging now, so I'm glad to see you here!

The thing about blogging...It's different for everyone. Just like we as business owners have to find our niche in the market for our products, we as bloggers have niches as well.

I think your niche is definitely clear. You're a handmade business blogger, showcasing your latest work and inspirations, as well as business tips. I happen to love your content. I love that you give shop updates, share the mood boards and latest color craze. As an artist, a creator & small business owner - you're doing everything right!

Omg, long time no see dear...! :D Wow, it has been a while...! I remember when we used to hand out in the ''simplified'' forums, it was so much fun!! :) I'm so glad to see you are doing so well on Etsy and still blogging as well! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to take a look at my blog! I really appreciate. You are totally right, blogging is just like business, nothing works the same for everyone. I'm so glad you love my content - you just made my day dear! My readings stats are not what they used to be and they got me worried I might have picked up blogging too late. Thank you for your kind comments, I really needed a moral boost for my blog!
