I was asked by a friend of mine if I could make a Button Cowl scarf in a camel color with brown buttons. I looked up pattern and was able to make it...came out cute! Someone else then wanted one in a different color. So I made several and put them on my site! That was exactly 1 week ago, and I just sold my 25th button cowl! Wow..not bad for 1 week! Very exciting!

Great job, Erica on the videos! I watched them the other day and found them very professional and informative. I'm on a forced vacation from my shop as all my felt making supplies are patiently waiting for their new 'studio' space in our new house!

How is everyone liking the new lay out ?

I love the new layout! This was the first chance I've had to get on my computer in over a week, and the changes are actually really nice!

Also, I'm super proud of myself bc I just filed my yearly sales tax form! I'm technically a few weeks early since it doesn't close until the end of the month, but I've been so busy with work that I haven't put any effort into promoting my shop, so I'm not really expecting any sales between now and then.

And speaking of busy - I got word last week that I was selected to interview for that job I applied for! I had to submit a writing sample, which was due Monday. She will be calling me this week to schedule the interview soon! Eek!

Hey, I don't know if anyone else is using this or not but for the last few weeks I've been using a new social media scheduler.It's called around.io (http://arnd.co/idoYY )
and I'm actually having really great results with it. My views have increased dramatically, I've gotten a ton of traffic lately that I wasn't getting before and the best part is that it was developed for users of etsy.
Many of you might have known about it, but I just learned about it. It's run by one guy (small business himself)
There's a one week trial if you want to give it a shot and see if it works for you. Even if it doesn't it lets you create some cool collages of stuff from your shop, etc.
I don't randomly push stuff but this is actually really working for me and I was going to tell everyone about it at the meeting but sadly I didn't get to make it.
So I thought I'd share now. :) Hope it helps someone else. If you try it, please let me know if it's working for you too!!!
