Don't know if this is a good idea or not but I thought it might be a nice idea to have a thread to discuss the books we are reading this month.

I just finished reading the translation of Daphnis and Chloe which is an ancient greek text by Longus. It was fab.

Am now reading Spider Bones by Kathy Reichs.

Just started "Pirate King" by Laurie R. King. Her Russell and Holmes series about Sherlock Holmes and his feminine equal are real page-turners. The first in the series is called, "The Beekeeper's Apprentice".

Just finished Major Pettigrews last stand.. If you love quaint english villages and people who drink lots of tea, you would love this book

I am currently reading "the Name of the Rose" and "Erotokritos". The latter is an epic, love story, written in 17th century Crete by Vintsentzos Kornaros.

Besides Handmade Market (my "I need to be a big girl and learn about the other side of business besides creating" book) I'm currently reading book 5 of The Wheel of Time (my boyfriend loves it, so it was my valentine's present to him that I read the series) and Shadow of the Wind.

I'm looking forward to being part of this team! You all have such interesting books to share!

I'm about halfway through, and I still say book one is the best of the three.

I just finished reading Strands of Bronze and Gold. It's a retelling of the Bluebeard fairy tale.
I don't know what's next on the list :) I really should look into the Beekeepers Apprentice. It sound interesting :)
