ok so my site is now up *yay!* lalasparty.com

but I've encountered a big problem. Since I used to use blog.lalasparty.com to "cover" the links from lalasparty.blogspot.com every single link I've ever posted on social media is broken :/ and I've found no way to fix it.

There is a lot of advice on fixing things like top domains but nothing on subdomains. I tried a fix yesterday and then ended up spending 45 minutes on the chat with tech support to fix it back lol. It took 2 people to finally get my site back to working. Any advice? Should I just go through all my social media accounts and erase all my links and start sharing them over again?

I was using blog.lalasparty.com to redirect all my blog posts because it looked more professional than lalasparty.blogspot.com

However, now that I have switched to wordpress, all the links that say blog.lalasparty.com are no longer working since the links went back to being lalasparty.blogspot.com

All my links on twitter, facebook, and pinterest are broken because of this.

I've found a lot of fixes that work for using lalasparty.com but none of them work when it's a subdomain issue

I hope that makes sense..

I think I'm just going to have to delete all the references to my old blog and reshare all the content fresh on the new blog

Kelly, do you recommend any e-commerce theme for Wordpress Genesis Framework?

My website is running on Wordpress+Genesis framework and I bought a theme for it. That theme doesn't support e-commerce/woocomerce so the "Shop" page looks ugly.

As you can see the formatting is bad and each photo is of different size.
Instead of trying to code to make it look better, should I just buy a new theme?

Also, I used a products importer plugin to import all the products and it worked wonderfully.

Id buy a theme with commerce already, they will have the framework set up already so it formats correctly.

If not you'll have to go into the code and make adjustments.

Have you tried studiopress.com? Im only so familiar with Genesis.

You could try regenerating the thumbnail, that may adjust things for you. Set the thumbs parameters then go regenerate all your photos.

What importer did you use? Im glad it worked well!

I used "WP All Import" + "WooCommerce Add-On" plugins for importing products.

Thanks for the tip regarding regenerating the thumbnails. I will try that.

Kelly, I ended up buying a new theme and reimported all my products again. The shop on my website looks so much better now.
Still need to work on having Product Categories.

Its looking good! All the product listings are lined nicely. You still have that nice clean feel like the other but better! :)

I just did a theme change a couple weeks ago too!

I made my own sidebar for product categories and filters just using linked text in the Text widgets.

I'm having a little issue where most comments are automatically being thrown into spam. They don't even go to moderation, just straight spam folder. Is there some kind of setting I can play around with so the spam filter isn't so dramatic?
